I get junk-mail from the post of-fice
This junk mail-won't go a-way...

Vangelis had another set of lyrics that he tried to release with this song, but the producers couldn't stop laughing. They argued for days, then substituted made-up words at the last minute, when the singers they hired also could not stop laughing.

Here are the original lyrics, which were found on a scrap of paper, on a recording studio floor.

I get junk-mail from the post of-fice
This junk mail-won't go a-way
I cry to them, "please don't-send me this..."
They laugh and send more ev-ry day...

cred-it card deals...
cou-pons for meals...
cat-a-logs for lit-tle dogs...
fake checks, great sex...

pho-ny sweep-stakes...
work-at-home fakes...
re-quests and re-in-vests...
Fraud...

Or sing along with the replacement...words...
