back to satire

Vangelis hated telemarketers and wrote these words to be sung to what later became his instrumental song, Hymne.

His producers finally talked Vangelis into recording the song without words, but a scrap of paper found on a recording studio floor (and thought lost) was recently rediscovered, and contained these words:

My phone rings
a sur-vey calls...
sel-ling things
with char-ming schmalz...
Man-age debt
the ea-sy way
Do not fret
ten ways to pay...

[Final]
My phone rings
a sur-vey calls...
sel-ling things
with char-ming schmalz...
"Hey, you won some cash
please call to claim..."
